Receiver issue
 

I am finishing my buildout and my receiver does not seem to be functioning correctly (all equip is listed in my sig). I independantly tested my receiver and servo on another car and both work correctly, however in my Ve8 the receiver does not seem to function properly. I am getting a normal operating signal from my ESC but the light on my recever does not come on. What other troubleshooting would be best here?

Motor: Tekin T8 BL 1700kV
ESC: Tekin RX8 BL
Servo: Hi Tec
Receiver Spektrum SR300
Radio: Spektrum DX3C
Battery: 14.8 v LiPo

Don't they recommend a capacitor on the reciever to provide power to the servo?

What about programming your esc voltage to the reciever?

Can you raise the nominal voltage?

Did you test with another ESC/motor or did you use a battery pack to power the reciever?

Does it work and the light doesn't come on?

Or it just doesn't work at all?

Could be a bind issue or making sure the wires that are going to the reciever are in the correct order or the plug is in backwards (I did that in my nitro from not paying attention, very frustrating:confused:)

Don't know if any of this will help but good luck finding it and fixing it.
