Hey, I'm new to posting here.
Just wondering if anyone else is using a GPS in their cars or trucks? Its amazing how well they work. You can tell Max run speed, total distance of run, run time, average speed and more. A good way of tesrlting new batteries and gearing setups to see just how much better they compare. I use a Garmin gecko 201 in my slash, very light weight and accurate. Im sure you can find them on ebay for cheap. Just wondering if this is common, and if not, why not? Its nice to know these results.

My buddy did something like this. He has a small gps transmitter mounted to his truck it relayed the signal back to his phone. The problem was he indoors and he didn't have a great gps signal. His final path looked like a big bowl of spaghetti.

My Traxxas Slash 2wd with vxl (stock) showed: 36. 4mph Max speed, 3. 33miles total distance run, 16. 5mph average speed and 15. 4minutes run time. It will be nice to compare these numbers to my lipo packs when the arrive.
