need help getting back in R/C
 

I haven't been in the R/C game for a long time. I have a Savage monster truck and am looking to pick up another for my son so we can bash them together in the back yard. However, I still have a Futaba 3PJ radio and reciever but don't know at all what if it is still a solid radio or not? Also, what would be another good radio for the other truck so that we can run them together? One radio I was looking at is a Futaba 3PL. Any info would be great

If your 3PJ still works, there is nothing wrong with it just because its old. I'm still using a 3PJS that came out after your 3PJ. You can still find the manual for it if you need one. The 3PL would be a good radio for your son and being 2.4, you'd never have to worry about any conflicts between yours and his.
