3PM or 3PL
 

I recently built up a revo and was looking at radios. I am leaning towards the futaba 3PL as the local hobby shop suggested, but was wondering if it is worth it to upgrade to a 3PM. The 3PL has FHSS but the 3PM has the FAST module, whats the difference between the two and will someone without much of a race background be able to tell the difference?
