Not really, some say not to "tax" them real hard for the first couple cycles.

I've ran my LiPos full punch out since they were brand new, and the oldest of them (IP Hardcase 1st gen 25C 5Ah) has been charged around 100 times... I think it runs even better than new.
Still holds 5050mAh.

RCGroups.com. They have a fairly extensive and active battery & charger forum. With quite a bit of posted battery test data, some manufacturer support, good info on converting computer server power supplies, etc.
