So my buddy donated all his rc stuff to me. I receive his Tekin charger and I want to use it but its outdated and I was wondering where can I get it updated? It has E25 version, which will not charge NimAh. Any help will do! Thanks.

It was a great charger 10 to 15 years ago but honestly today it's a dog. Yes Tekin did have an upgrade program for it but I believe they no longer have the chips for it, best to check with Tekin Tech Support.

BTW the cost of the upgrade was $50 10 years ago. Today you can buy better chargers that can charge all battery chemistries for the same $50.

BTW: I do have the NiMH BC112a and haven't used it since 2004.

Okay, thank you. Sounds like its not worth updating it then. I guess I'll just buy a new charger. Yeah, my friend bought this charger when it first came out and it must been beast then.
