MMP Built BEC for 7.4v
Hi,
I read from other thread that MMP's built in BEC can be bump up to 7.4 or more. i am using HV servos and receivers + the external bec. I really like if don't have to install the external BEC for HV servos... I tried to find correct thread with this bump but i couldn't... anyone has "how to"? thanks again~ remy |
MMP Bec voltage is adjustable via the Castlelink software
External bec is your best option unless you want to run a seperate battery to power high amp draw servos Whats the issue with running an external bec ? Cheers |

Cheers I was just curious because if MMP supports 7.4 or above Then I should take that advantage...no other esc supports 7.4v and above for builtin BEC. I guess it was wrong or misleading information that MMP can be bump to 7.4 or above... Thanks anyways rem |
The MMP Internal BEC is notoriously weak, I'd go the External BEC, or even direct wire the power to your servo from your Lipo Balance plug (assuming a 2s Lipo car) via a Y lead and an adapter and still have the MMP power the receiver.

i run the savox HV servo with my MMP and use a spektrum voltage protector, works excellent and was only 6 bucks!
