hitec 7955 glitching
 

I bought a brand new hitec 7955 servo yesterday and when i plug it into my receiver, it and my ESC(mamba max pro) start to glitch. the servo will just start randomly turning and the esc will randomly accelerate(only happens when servo is plugged in). Im using a flysky receiver. whats weird is i have a hitec 5998 digital servo and it doesnt do this at all. If i plug the 7955 into my crawler thats running the RTR team associated 2.4 receiver and some old brushed ESC it works fine. I havent changed any BEC settings on my mamba yet so i believe it should be at 5 volts. will bumping voltage to 6v maybe help? maybe receiver is shutting off from the servo drawing too much? defective servo?
