CastleCreation ESC help.
 

i have the Kv4800 sidewinder 2. tryed to run it today in my Blitz ESE. now here is the problem. forward i have a red light and little to no power. in reverse the motor will spin the tires of the rims. i tryed reseting all end point adjustments. i recalibrated the ESC and same deal. this is not normal.the C/C system is Brand new. any help thanks.

Full throttle should be a green signal, full brake a red

3 ways to reverse the motor direction

1. Swap any two motor wires
2. Change the motor direction using the Castlelink software on your computer
3. Reverse the throttle channel in your transmitter

Check that reverse is enabled using the computer software
Check the settings for forward and reverse power

If you have a Futaba or Futaba made radio, start with the throttle channel reversed. Then go from there.

i will try when i get home. my C/C in my slash has so much more power than the Kv4800 in my Blitz. the slash has the 3800 setup and it is faster.

The 3800kV should have more power. It's a 4-pole motor. The 4600kV that comes with the SV2 is only a 2-pole.

yellow light in netural postion, red light when i pull the thorttle! but i have revrse

now i get a green flshing light and a red flashing light when i throttle forward.
and full power in revrse noting forward.and if i do get forward throttle its very slow and sluglish.revrse throttle will blow the tires off the rims.

and some times it flashes the light red with a beeping sound.

Flashing Green OR Red while beeping = indicates speed control is looking for full throttle (green) or full throttle (red). If it continues for more than ~ 8 seconds, indicates speed control is seeing partial throttle (green) or reverse (red), increase endpoints on transmitter so speed control sees full throttle/reverse.

Not sure you have it calibrated correctly.....

Don't give up the Castle is a great ESC, set endpoints back to 100 forward and reverse, reverse ch2 on TX and recalibrate and you should be fine. My Sidewinder would not cal. with the endpoint at 120, once I set it to 100 it set up no problem.

i give up...same deal tryed everything posted. i get a soild green light a soild yellow light and a flashing red with a beeping sound.
