Sorry I forgot to put that info but
Losi 8ight 2.0 e Hobby wing xerun 2250kv system and the 150a esc Not really after blistering speed, it will be a track car so I want a battery that will last quite awhile |
With the 2250, you'll want to run a 4S setup. Aim for at least 4000mAh and a high enough C rating to give at least 150 Amps continuous, though more is always better. Do you want a hardcase or a softcase?
Check these out: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=10869 http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=10303 http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=10307 You should also check out the Gens Ace series. Much better packs for about the same price once you figure in shipping. http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-40c-50...-hardcase.html |
Thanks
I like the idea of a hard case so I'm gonna get the first one thanks!

That connector is called 4mm HXT connector. Here's an adapter to XT60 -
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=16373 I don't see one that converts to what HK would call a 'T' plug. Most cut them off and solder they preferred connector anyway. Check the lipo's voltage before you do that. Soon as you change the connector, its not returnable. |

I was under the impression when you purchase these off brand lipos from China, you do so at your own risk, between company return policies and shipping it's not worth you time or trouble to send bad ones back. |
Actually if you follow their warranty rules (register the packs within 24hrs of receipt) and if there is a voltage prob, you do nothing - you do not attempt to charge it or anything else, you get an RMA and send it back at your expense and wait.
I usually buy extra lipo if the lipos are critical, so I can tolerate a bad one, not sure I'd send one back either. The plane guys seem to return low voltage ones all the time and after about a months wait, they get new replacements. They follow the warranty/return policy to the letter. This is posted about a good bit on RC Groups. HK has gotten a lot better in the last few years though. I started by buying a pair of HK 3S lipos and one was low voltage right off the bat. Now 2 yrs later, I've bought 8 more and they've all been good, so I'm 1 bad lipo out of 9. |
