which rx port for battery
Pretty simple question but I don't run nitro so don't know the answer.
A mates rx has no dedicated battery port. Does the battery just plug into any redundant channel? |

No aux port. Just numbered ports and 1 labelled id set (which is for binding I think as it only has 2 outside pins, which won't work for the battery).
|
then any open 3 prong port should work, don't see why not..
|
That's what I'm hoping. No other option really I guess:weird:
Should I go with batt in port 1 and then servo's after that, or vice versa? Also, I know the + is always the middle pin but is the - always on the outside of the rx? |
I've never seen the - be anywhere but the outside of the receiver.
throttle and steering should be labeled, or chan. 1 and chan. 2, those do need to be in specific ports. |
Sorted, thanks racer;)
For the record, batt could be plugged into any of the empty channels. Neg was to the outside. |
Just curious, what brand of receiver is this that has no battery plug?

this sound's like your running a spektrum rx the bind port is the battery port
but if its another type more of the time its the bind port where you plug the power in |
