Getting back into racing i need help!!!
 

Like the title states i just am getting started back into racing i plan on racing 2wd electric buggy what a decent battery charger setup for lipos these days? when i got out 3600's just came out and lipo was rarely used at all. Ive been looking around and havent been able to figure out what i should get. also i would like to do this as cheap as possible but dont wana sacrifce quality. I dont want junk but stuff kinda middle of the road. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

You will be very happy, and setup to run along time.

i use thunder power tp-610c it will charg up to 10 amps and up to 6s lipo

but there dc only so you will need a power unit

best thing I can say is check A-Main Hobbies to see the selection of lipo chargers that are out there. if you want a compact setup, get a charger that doesn't need a power supply and has an internal balancer.

gens ace batteries are ROAR approved (if that matters to you) and are about as cheap as you can find and apparently rate pretty well. I'll be picking one of these up next time I need a new battery:

Also the Thunder AC6 as someone else mentioned, sold from the same site, has been serving me well so far.

thanks for your help. Looks like the days of spendin a hundred bucks or more on one pack of matched sub c's is gone. thats one of the main reasons i got out.

You can still spend big bucks on a battery if you want, and a lot of people do. But it seems that you don't need to spend big bucks to be competitive.

+1 on the gens ace! Cheap. Also am very happy with my 2S SPC 6000 30c, lightweight for its capacity. 50 bucks on their website.
