Cooked GTB-2???

hey just have a small question here, just got a new gtb2 esc, soldered it up, have been running it, and i accidentally-dont we all love to do this, reversed polarity  I only toched leads for a second, saw a huge spark for literally a fraction of a second, and was like  So i pluuged it back in and IT WORKS FINE!!!, at least i hope. See, i ran my truck today to LVC for the first time with this esc, and when i plugged the lipo into my ICE, it read 5.4 volts. Isnt this a little low? The GTB is supposed to cutoff at 6.25 volts. The esc says that LVC is active, but the throttle dipped near the end of the run and felt just like a NiMH dying. I was able to get my charger to recognize it, but not my balancer. So my question is, did my rev polarity issue cook the LVC? Also if it did, can i just use an ex BEC or should i send it in?
