SCT Pro = price, size, performance... not much more to ask for. As long as you are in the mainstream and only running up to 4S, it's a great ESC!

Has updating the ESC been fixed? I know for a while that there was a problem with bricking ESCs? Software is on update 3.43.

Default Xerun SCT Pro 4700kv combo issue

The setup is only a week old...while testing this in my new Tekno SCT410 build I notice the fan on ESC stopped working and the program box is not powering on via the fan port. Has anyone ran into this before?

Both fan and program box were working fine until I took it outside. Running 5500mah 2s 50C Trinity batteries ad 16T pinion on stock spur.

Just picked up an eb48.2 and was going to try a different brand for motor/esc. Only running 4s so I'll look into the sct pro. Thanks

I have run mine in an EB48, 8ight 3.0, XB9E and now an MBX7 Eco... and still going strong. I have it paired with a Tekin Gen1 2050kV motor. Sure wish HW would come out with somewhere between a 1900 to 2050 kV sensored short can motor.

If your not getting power to the fan or program box then you should send it in. Go to FalconSEKIDO.com and get an rma request filled out and send it in.

As far as the stock settings go, they should be fine. If you need less punch or tire spin then lower the punch, if it runs a little warm on stock settings lower the timing to 1 or 2. Set the battery LVC to 3.0 and the cell count to 4s not automatic.

Was looking at the V10 motors and noticed the schematics show the rotors have fans on them? Is this true or is that an option rotor? Thanks!

Default Hobbywing 2.1

I have a hobbywing 2.1 esc and I started getting an arc between 2 of the posts. I have since pulled the esc but it appears as if the arc is jumping on the board. I cleaned the board and clean up all solder joints and still had the same issue. How much does it cost to get it serviced? Its past the warranty stage but unfortunately it was not even used that much.

I have both 10.5s and 17.5s and neither one has the fan. I believe that's an optional tuning rotor.

How is the power compared to other motors?

Hey guys,

I am running a HW Xerun v3.1 with a LRP X20 6.5T, and a few times during a 5 minute race, if I try to grab full throttle going down the straight or to hit a triple, the power is intermittent. 95% percent of the race my car will not have a problem clearing the triple, but 1 or 2 laps I notice I will hit full throttle and the car just doesn't seem to go. Have there been any issues with these ESC's doing that? Or is there a setting I need to adjust?

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks,

Wade

Hi Wade,

The LVC could be kicking in. Check what its set at. Typically I run mine at 2.8-3.0
