Did a search and can't find the correct answer. Tore 2 4268 gen2 motors apart to check bearings. 1 motor had 1 brass shim and 1 crush washer, the other had 2 crush washers only. What's the proper shim setup? I assume the crush washer goes on the pinion end and the brass shim is supposed to be on the sensor board end?

I see a lot of drivers (including pros) using ONLY 1 degree of boost in their set up sheet. Not 0, not 5 or 10. But 1. I don't see how it can have an effect on the car.
Can someone explain why? I am new to the hobby. Thanks.

Believe me....1° of boost has a good effect on bottom end punch! It also depend on how the boost is applied.

Also some drivers only properly update their car sheets (some not even that 100%), not necessarily their ESC's sheet.

Serch youtube (eliminate hobbywing esc button not working )

Is there a way to program a xr8 pro without a programmer? I need to switch the motor direction (sensored motor) and don’t have a programmer. The instructions show a chart but only show access with a programmer.

Softening reduces timing for the set conditions. However, with softening activated, you're no longer in blinky mode.
