Default Xr8 power issue

My Xr8 plus does not beep or power the motor when the switch is turned on. The esc responds to throttle input as evident by the red led indicator but the motor does not work and neither is there a beep. If I try to turn the motor shaft by hand whilst applying throttle/reverse, there is very slight resistance for a small period of time(less than 1 second) . I've also noticed that the 5v capacitor has leaked. Could the capacitors be causing the issue?

Hi guys,

I plugged my back backwards on my xr160... it went poof. Silly me. Moreover, my program card #1 started with a blank screen (like all pixels lighted up...) when I plugged it in. Program card #2 still works (yes, I have two, one always in the pit bag, one at home).

How (if?) do you suggest I revive the card? I cannot seem to be able update it with the HW link, it just doesn't "see" the card as a device... again, all is good with card #2...

thanks in advance for your help

Paul

Blinky mode no drag brake adjust your punch setting for the traction you have....

the new esc is supposed to have reverse polarity protection, that right? Is this a feature that will make it into other ESCs?

For the xr10 pro stock, does that have high voltage BEC?
