Hi guys

quick one for some advice

xr10 pro with a 6.5t trinity horsepower monster, When moving it's fine, but when on the grid for race start, I pull the trigger and it doesn't move, need to pump the throttle 3 times to get it going, has a new sensor cable, can't see any solder cross overs between the phases, and soldering seems fine, initially assumed a dry join on on of the phases, but now kinda stumped... Suck when you have a front row start and end up p6 by t1

Please help...I have a hobbywing xr10 pro 160a esc that’s been giving me problems. It was working and then all of sudden started glitching. I looked into it and saw the plug was loose in the receiver. When I pulled the plug out 2 of the wires came out of the plug. No big deal crimped new terminals and all seemed well. Took it out and it started glitching again. I’ve switched receivers, rebound rx to tx, tried to set neutral/full throttle/brake points and it won’t go into that mode. I hold the power button it flashes orange but no beeping, press it again while tx is in neutral and then the light goes out. I pull full throttle and press the power button and it flashes green a couple of times. It does the same when I set brake point. The light flashes correct when I pull throttle and brake but there’s no power to the wheels or motor. Hopefully someone can help. Sorry for the long post.

According to the WiFi Express, my XR8 is reaching temps of 167F. Is that too hot? If so, what can I do?

Does anybody know if the old 2n1 LCD programmer will work with the XR8 SCT ESC? The info I'm finding isn't clear on that, it just says it uses an LCD programmer. I know there is a newer one but if my old one works I don't want to bother buying the newer one (don't have the ESC yet).

Has anyone ever had a HW V3.1 just Quiet on them for no reason? Was not even hot it just run one battery and on the next run it came on and just went off by itself after that won’t do anything?

Yes that is incorrect, this is an error in the software code as it doesn't account for the 4-pole motor.
Someone actually documented the issue earlier in this thread.
You can get the correct number if you divide by two, I believe.

Not too hot at all, 167F = 75C = quite safe.
The ESC will self-cutout if the thermal maximum is exceeded.

I appreciate the response. Since then the max has been 148F and the max on the motor has been 123F. I think I'm good temps wise and may try a gear up.

Thanks!

Hello, I have a new XR8 PLUS. In calibrating it will accept the neutral & high throttle settings but will not accept the brake. Tx trims are zero. red light is flashing rapidly, any ideas?

ETA: ABS was enabled, turned it off & all is good

Default Justock XR10 60 ESC

The specs state that one can use this ESC with an 8.5T motor. Has anyone used this ESC for mod touring car racing with a 8.5T motor for medium size asphalt tracks.
