Is the software not downloadable from an Ipad for the Xerun XR8 plus with 4274sd motor. I am a total newb with these ESC and motors. I had a RC10 about 30 years ago. Thanks in advance

When you see a min. voltage reading from the ESC's data record functions, it's reading under load, which is ALWAYS lower than when it's without a load, & once the load is lifted(like when lifting off the throttle), the pack will return to a resting voltage(like what you see with the Box or a voltmeter). That's how batteries work, & when the voltage under load drops under your LVC, then it will rightly kick in. In your case, I'd suggest lowering the LVC to 6.4V(which still should be a safe voltage for a 2S pack) or shut it off entirely & see if that helps....
Load on a battery is not binary (0/1) - its a function of how deep you pull the trigger. This is why I pulled it very gently just to make few rotations of the engine in order to reset the logger.
We need to come back to initial problem: ESC is misbehaving when LCV AUTO is turned on - this is how I spotted the problem and started my investigation.
Troubleshooting has led me to conclusion that ESC is misreading voltage of the battery or (I do not have an evidence for that only speculation) LVC is not implementing discharge curve properly.

Of course we can turn off AUTO LVC and set threshold manually - but for premium racing ESC (this is how I foresee HW Xerun familly) it's bit lame.

I own also 2xXerun 150A which work like charm

When you open the program it actually has a factory reset button at the bottom of the program I believe.

If you can afford spending a little more go with the XR10 Stock Spec ESC (2S). Link here...

Pair it with a Hobbywing V10 G2 motor, either 8.5 or 10.5 and you will have all the power you need. Link for motors...

Unfortunately looks like they are out of stock on the motors at this point in time. Assuming holiday rush cleaned them out. Wont be long until they are back in stock I would imagine.
thanks! i appreciated the feedback.

Thanks. Was wondering if there was something more than that but it is what it is.

Yeah no go here, still need the push start. I am going to start the RMA process just hoping they can tell me beforehand what it would be to replace out of warranty so I know if its worth it or not.

Just picked up a 13.5 g2 bandit motor and installed it in my Xb4. This motor is super noisy. I thought my gear mesh wasn't right but went over it about 30 times, even changing pinion gears. Had a 9.5 that I just changed out and it was much quieter than this motor. Is it normal for this motor to be noisier than other 2 pole sensored motors?

Sounds fine under no load, but with the pinion on and meshed against the spur it makes a loud noise like gears are grinding or something. Spur and pinion teeth are fine. Put my 9.5 back in it and it was back to normal. Definitely coming from the motor. Just didn't know if this is normal for this motor or not. If it is, I'm getting rid of it.

Sounds like maybe the bearing might be bad if it only does it when it's meshed with a spur and pinion and other motors make no noise.

I use the HW bandit 10.t motor. I've never noticed it being loud but the rotor is extremely tight and difficult to turn by hand.

How does it perform when you are running?

I haven't ran it hard yet, just around in my living room. I don't want to run it full speed at this point. I will contact hobbywing to see if I can get it replaced. Thanks for the feedback.

It could also be a sensor problem. I have had motors sound like the gears are grinding when tge the motor was having sensor problems.
