I DKWTF is wrong with it......
had to replace it with an orion r10, but I'd like all my rides to be HW'd.

I've updated to the latest software, and now my motor is going backwards, and cannot select reverse motor rotation as it is 'ghosted'!

where can I find an old version of software?
Angelo can send you what you need. Email him at [email protected] or [email protected]

jmkalt
1 is the lowest setting and more forgiving on loose dusty tracks. We run ours on 1 or 2 and punch on 2 and can squeeze the trigger pretty good out of turns.
IMO Try lower settings first.

I've got an older Speed Passion LCD professional program card that looks identical to Hobbywing's. Can this card be used to program the Hobbywing 150a 1/8 speed control?

Is there a way to get notified when Hobbywing puts out a software update?

It might be able to, do you have a picture?

Are you sure the wires are hooked up the correct phases? having a swapped wire can cause this.

Sounds like no radio signal to me. Try to make sure you are bound to the receiver. if you have steering and no throttle reverse the servo with the speed control in your receiver to see if your steering works by the throttle trigger.

The radio works just fine with my other hobby wing v3.1 120a esc.

It wont go into calibration mode at all. does the sensor wire need to be unplugged from the speedo for calibration?

Yes you should be able to. I am not positive if it will connect to the Hobbywing link software however. So you might be stuck with the firmware on the 150A (can still adjust settings though).

I have a one month old 150a and 1800 motor in my e buggy. In the last week I plug in the battery and drive a warm up lap or two. I put the car in my start position and when the tone sounds, it won't go. Steering works but no drive. After a second or two, it starts working again and I drive the rest of my qualifier or main without an issue. If I never stop the car for an extended time it doesn't happen. Any ideas?
