No, but for brushless you can get a Quicrun 10 for $20.99 from HWNA:

And check out this little gem under new arrivals - 10% of based on varying levels of purchase:

Having the punch rate at 40% is most likely causing you to blow through the lower punch rate and right into the 20 setting of your second punch rate...

On a soft setup I like the following settings:

65% - 70% Switch
10 - 15 on Punch Rate 1
20 - 25 on Punch Rate 2

Let me know how this feels.

Good Luck!
Awesome, thanks. I figured it was something to do with these settings but I have had very limited track time to really get to test. I think the next time I will be on the track will actually be in OH for the Midwest Winter Champs. Not exactly low bite, but at least I should have a lot of practice time. Once we get back from Ohio I should be able to get back into a groove of Sat and Sun club races for a few months. Hopefully I'll be able to give you solid feedback.

I like to set up 3 or 4 profiles on the esc each with different punch settings from 65% 5/15 to 65% 30/30 and then I can switch between profiles trackside with the programmer very quick and easy to test which setup I like best. In doing so you are overwriting some of the default profiles but you can always restore those if you needed to.

Hope this helps and good luck.

I have one and like it quite a bit. I do have to say that the JustStock esc is a little lighter and comes with 14g wire so you save a little weight. Performance wise I don't notice much of a difference.

I know you will like it, everyone I talked to that has one is very happy. Guys at my local track are running lower wind motors so you should have no issue's, it should be great with 17.5. If you need help we are always here.....

Default Hobbywing/Neewer program card

I didn't get this answered in a different forum so I'll try here. I bought the Neewer ESC and 550 sensorless motor combo a month ago.*

My question is.....can the hobbywing version 2 program card be used for setting up this system? Or do I have to buy a Neewer-specific setup?

The Extreme stock and Justock ESCs are hands down the best you can get for the money spent in my mind.

The Extreme stock has the ability to adjust profiles with timing advance if you would want to do a non-blinky setup in addition to the blinky profile.

The Justock does not have the ability to do timing advance, but is very light weight. If you are looking for a 17.5 esc only for blinky class, the justock can not be beat!

I run 2 Justocks, one in my SK Spec (17.5 with 1S) and one in my pancar (also 17.5 with a 1S).

Well I got the oportunity to help out a new Hobbywing user last night. He was quite upset and ready to give up when I arrived. I first asked him if his battery was fully charged he said yes. His truck was shutting off after the straight and would go again after sitting for a few seconds. We even switched his speed control for one of my new units and still the same thing. I finally said , are you sure your battery is charged? We checked it and it was dead. We now have another satisfied customer.
