I've read that people have been doing that. Just scares me to set the LVC so low.

Try the 3.42 or 3.41 hobbylink software....... Im just trying to get you going, I know it can be frustrating at times.

Tried the older versions of the USB link software. Didn't work. Problem is that the esc can't talk to the programmer, which acts as the "interpreter" between the esc and the pc .

Appreciate the help but it looks like I am not racing this weekend. Hopefully falconsekido can get this turned around pretty quickly. I submitted an rma request last night.

Is there a reason that the 90a XERUN isn't ROAR approved for blinky other than hobbywing just didn't send it in?

we saw no reason to send it in for roar approval as we have so many on the list.

Its common, the HW is more sensitive. You have to typically set it lower. I run mine at 2.8-3.0

Yes, it is also not accurate. I had mine set (on the SCT-Pro) to 2.8, and when when LVC was reached the 2S battery still had 6.8/6.9 left according to the balance charger. So setting to 2.8 was very safe in my experience.

I just installed an Xtreme Stock in my B5M. I'm still waiting for the delivery of the Multifunction LCD Program Box. Am I really unable to program the ESC without this card??? The button presses will not work and the manual states, "This function will be invalid when using the firmware with 15 programmable items".

Depending on your battery as you can kill the pack yes you can run 2.8v 3.0v just check with your batterys
manufacturer they should be able to tell you their batterys safe low voltage cutoff that the battery was designed for.

Now, when I connect the programmer to the ESC and press a button to enter programming mode, the programmer says "Connecting ESC" forever. The ESC is also unresponsive from transmitter/motor point of view. It seems like the ESC is bricked.

Notes:
- I have disconnected everything except the ESC, programming box, and power (RX is disconnected)
- I have tried to connect the programming box to the PC and the ESC is unresponsive however, USB Link can talk to the programmer.
- I am certain that the connections (polarity) is correct.
- I plugged the programmer into the programming port by the fan

I contacted Angelo and he told me that I needed to update the firmware (which I obviously cant do) and that his update went fine (which I guess is great). Any advice?

I have just had the same happen to me, I just received my XERUN-120A V3.1 today and had a test in the garden all working fine, I then decided to see if there was an update and there was so did the v140627 using the USB Link V3.43. now it wont work or connect to anything, and was really hopeing to use my new kit for Sunday

Thank you, but I couldn't even get it into any programming mode. I hold the set button until the green light flashes, but it flashes three times not once like the instructions state. As soon as it flashes I let go of the button, but after the three green flashes it goes red and stays there.

I just got my HW xerun 150a 1800kv combo today and am working on installing it in my 8ight-t. I am using the losi conversion kit. The motor screws that came with the HW combo are too short to accommodate the losi mounting bracket. What have others that have used this combo used?
