My battery voltage after the ten minute main (I ran for about 7 minutes) was 7.53 volts. I did not take the voltage after the second qualifier, but it would surely be higher than 7.53 volts due less run time. I temped the motor after the qualifier and the main and it was approx. 120 degrees both times. Should I go down one tooth on the pinion gear to a 15 tooth? Should I get a higher mah amp battery? Should I get a fan for the motor? Is there anything I can do to the esc settings? FYI I have been playing with the ESC drag brake setting.... if memory serves I have it at 40 or 30 with the programming card...Everything else is pretty standard. I was thinking of taking off the rear bumper to save weight. No nose dive issues for me.... Please advise.
Post your settings, what's your LVC set at?

Yea i guess 120% would be hard to attain. Lol. Knowing that starting point for level 1 would be nice to know. Not required but, nice for reference point. Do Hobbywing folks monitor this forum?

Hi there!

It's really nice to have this kind of support available...

I am considering an upgrade from brushed motor & ESC to a Hobbywing X9B combo. Problem is that I seem to have a limited space for an esc on my car (a Kyosho EP Fazer Kobra). The current ESC is a Perfex KA-16H ESC which measures 30.2x33.7x16.5mm.

How do I deal with the issue?

Post settings, but lower the LVC that's most likely it.

I have a question. to turn off turbo if you do not want turbo I don't see a disable feature so I am guessing that on turbo if you do not want it to come in you would set the setting at 0 when you get to the turbo parameters in the ESC is this correct? I would like to try using boost only just trying to figure out how to turn off the turbo thanks for the information

13 or 14 works well although I prefer 14 to remove some of the excessive wheel spin.

Drop the LVC to 2.8v and see what happens. That's what I had to do because I was having the same issue. That fixed it for me.

That's correct just set the turbo to zero if you don't want to use it. I personally use very little turbo and just put the boost to it. It depends on how aggressive you have the turbo set but its real easy to spin the tires. With just boost you get a very linear feeling of throttle. If you would like more help on this pm me or email me at lewisracecars @gmail.com

Did you happen to temp the ESC? Any hot/burnt smell? Did you have steering for the thirty seconds it was not running?

I've seen this in the past and it was the fan on the ESC not working or not plugged in. It will cause the ESC to overtemp and cut off.

Hi guys. I have a v2.1 90A driving a Speed Passion 13.5t V3 motor in my 4wd 1/10 buggy. How far can I push this setup sensibly to get the maximum punch and straight line speed out of it?

Can anyone provide some guidance and preferably a good starting ESC setup using STOCK software on the v2.1?
