Some say its a bad sensor board on the motor others say is the lipo discharge 'C' rating, but my testing proves otherwise. The motor wires are connected correctly and if the esc is turned off and on the error goes away and comes back when near full throttle is reached.
I bought a Xerun 150A/2000kv combo used off this site and immediately experience the flashing red and green light sensor error when I hit full throttle while runing a 4S 5000mah 40C lipo. I tried two Tekin motors and two different sensor wires on this used esc and both resulted in the same error. One of these motors was a Tekin 1900kv and the other was a Tekin 2250kv. I recently bought a new Xerun 150A Esc for a different build and tested all three motors and the two sensor wires on this new, out of the box Esc with the same results. All three motors work fine running sensored on both an RX8 and MMP, so a bad motor sensor board in not the case.
Durning my testing I've tried different firmware and endless configurations of esc settings without success.
Ok, so after many days of testing I recently tried runing a 3S lipo and the error does NOT occur on any of the three sensored motors. This tells me that it's a voltage issue with the esc.
Does anyone have any input or information to possibly help resolve this issue with the sensor error on the Xerun 150A esc?
Also, can someone post a list of all the firmware releases for the Xerun 150A esc. I can only seem to find 3 different firmware releases.
I have just starting running my Tekin 2050/150A combo. I haven't finalized the gearing. Running #1 punch and zero timing with no problems. I doubt that I'll need to go up in punch or timing, but just for fun I'll try a slight increase in both. Did Angelo help you any? Be sure and post the results, I'm sure others are having the same problem.

At most tracks, 1/8 conversions and 4S batteries are not legal. Even when the conversions are allowed to run, many times they are limited to 2S batteries and less than 1/8 scale motors. Definately not ROAR legal.

Make sure the sensor wire is hook up. If the speedo loses signal and goes into sensorless mode the red and green led light will be blinking back and forth.

Are you sure?
In the manual of the SCT Pro it's written: "When the throttle stick is in the neutral range, the red LED and the green LED flashes synchronously" = "Over Current protection, motor demagnetization, or motor is over load"
In the manual is nothing written about how to know if it is in sensor or sensorless mode.

I know, in the manual of 150A and 80A it's like you say it but we are talking about the SCT Pro. But maybe you already asked hobbywing so I wonder why they don't write it in the manual.

I talked with Daniel at Falcion Sekido (HWNA) and he said these motors have been submitted to ROAR for approval and should be good to go. This was about 3 months ago and I have not heard anything else about it. I will shoot him another mail to ask again.

Obviousley i'm a little biased on this subject (I think all the HW stuff is better), but there is a thread for the motor on here and there are pictures on there comparing the size of the magnets on the rotor between a tekin Pro4 and the HW....see for yourself.

I haven't heard anything from him in a while, I'm assuming they're working on another project or something right now.

Just getting ready to purchase a DEX210 buggy. I will be racing on a 80 x 40 dirt indoor track, medium traction. Any recommendations on a ESC and motor combo. Any help would be great.

Hi guys, I just purchased a haobao hyper TT and was running great.. However itchy hands me decided to swop the stock 10t 35a into the hpi reload esc and flux motor which I believe it to be 9t 4300kv 540 motor which in turn, should be faster then the stock hyper tt motor..

However, after a few runs, red led keep flashing and she went into on off mode which I believe could be the low voltage, please correct me if I am wrong..

Using 2s lipo with 6200mah and 70c. When it was on the 10t, I did not have the problem with the red blinking lights, lipo all same and running stock pinion 12t but not sure what is the spur size..

Can you advise if I am doing anything wrongly? Or could it be any problem on the reload esc?.. Btw.. I added heatsink on the current 9t motor.

Once again, thank you
