Default xerun

Yeah I have an extra receiver and I tried a new one. Does Hobbywing have a repair center?

You know we had a racer tonight with a simular problem with his Tekin, turned out to be a bad servo.

If you bought it through falcon sekido or one if their dealers they will repair it. If you didn't falcon will still repair it but its going to cost you. You can also contact your dealer you bought it from and see if they can send it out for repairs.

Go to www.falconsekido.com and click on RMA to learn how to send it back.

The 2-in-1 programmer boxes are frustrating me. Bricked one (my fault), but my other one stopped functioning entirely so I ordered a new one. It arrived today, worked one time, now when I plug it in, it won't turn on (just like the one it replaced). What's going on?

I didn't flash the new one. The firmware worked fine w/ my ESC at first.

Default 1/8 buggy

Hi guys,
I'm going to buy new esc for my 1/8 buggy. I'm thinking of getting Xerun SCT Pro, but i do not know if it could handle this motor:

Any help would be appreciated.

Will a V3 ESC be good for a 4-pole 540 motor in a heavy 4x4 SC, or do I need the SCT Pro?

yes thats what I run. The SCT pro ESC is rock solid and can handle the 8th scale motors pretty well. Try out the SCT pro combo D with the 2250KV motor, SCT ro ESC and program box all for $199. great deal for quality 8th scale electrics.

yes, I have seen a guy run the v3 ESC with the 4000kv 4 pole motor in an SCTE. He took first place in the a main too so the thing works good I would say ... I have not tried it out myself though.

It would easily be able to handle that motor. You're good to go!

Nope, the V3 will be perfect for that. It will weigh less and it is much more adjustable. not to mention if you decide to put it in something else it is much more versatile.

I am not familiar with the size of the Tekno motor mounts, but if you have a tekno 42mm mount and the motor is 39.8 i would not use it. Especially not if you are planning to use the fins on the motor to take up the space.

I didn't think about it that way... That would be silly of me to do. Thanks man!

Sure thing! If you still want to use that Tekno mount, i would look into either of these motors:
http://www.falconsekido.com/products/xrm4168sd

I use the 2250Kv myself, and it is a fantastic powerhouse that stays cool no matter what you throw at it.
