spektrum problem
 

Hello

Was running at wlrc yesterday, was a hot day, no problem all day till last final where the spektrum lost bind and came back twice...after speaking to a few people it was a common thing yestaerday, has any body ever had a problem with heat?

i had problems with spektrum until i got a futaba and never looked back.... but in saying that i would buy another spektrum radio anyday ( not to use in my baja , they hate 2 stroke r/c's..) ive heard of this happening , maby contact spektrum , i know a big batch of the dx3r's failed...

I had the same issue early on in the day with a dx3s handset. Coming around the far side of the sweeper the car would just lose all signal. Changed the receiver from the standard spektrum one to a micro one (SR3500?) seemed to cure it, although it did cut out again late on in the day going through the D just before the main straight (marshall switched off and on and it was fine after that).

Been running the same handset and receiver for last 18 months without issue and been at wlrc several times before.

I did wonder whether all the generators there yesterday were causing problems?

Will see if it does it again this week, i think it will be fine, have tested it with no problem.
