Turnigy servo

I recently replaced my stock servo from my Losi XXX SCT for a Turnigy 958 Digital corless servo. I must admit, I was first skeptical with the price, and the name Turnigy, but this thing works pretty darn well. I use the lipo's before so Im familiar with the name. The retail is around $16 bucks. For 200 oz at 6v? I thought it would be kinda slow because the speed is listed at .20 but no problems thus far. Anybody ever had any good/bad experience with these servos? I wanna know before I switch out my Xray NT1 throttle servo for this thing.

Turnigy

I think they are rebadged servo's from several manufacturers. I was looking threw some cheapy servos on Hobbyking and seen a few looked the same as others with matching specs. The only cheap servo I buy is Power HD. Ive owned a few and Im very happy with them. They sell them on Hobbyking, but I found this site! Far cheaper than anywhere else. I always bought the

I bought one of the hv-300 (or something) turnigy servos for my crawler. Worked great for about 5 runs. Then something started to slip. The motor in the servo would just keep spinning. So I tore it apart and found that the crown gears are all press fitted together. So I drilled a small hole on each side of the press fit and loc-tited two small grub screws in to keep that press fit from spinning. Now that servo is a beast. I have it running straight off my 3s lipo with no regulator. Super fast and torquey.

Any body ever use the turnigy 1256 tg servo. I'm on a serious budget and servo specs look great. Planning on using it in a t4.2 stadium truck. Thanks
