Spectrum Telemetry

I recently bought the DX2S 2-Ch and it came with telemetry. I don't see much of a use for RPM thing but like the idea of the temp sensor. Anybody know how accurate they are? I'll do some tests later and compare to my temp gun but was curious if anybody is actually using them and what they think. I'll be using this on a 540 motor in my short course truck.

I have been running the DX3S with telemetry for a couple of years now. The temp sensor works great, always very accurate. The battery voltage has always read .5 volt higher than it actually is. The rpm sensor doesn't work very well, at least for high rpm applications, might work better on a lower speed gear to do mph. When I tried to use it for engine rpm it would work to about 15000 rpm, then was unreliable.
