ESC Problem??
 

I have an all stock traxxas slash 4x4 brushless, that i put on the track twice. Im new to the whole eletric short course cars. But, to get to the point, my truck has complete steering and no throttle. When i first took it out the box, it also gave my problems but i seemed to have fixed that. Now its stuck with no throttle and full steering, but sometimes, all of a sudden it'll work. At one point, i kept having to press set on the stock controller and then it would work. Now, once in a blue moon, it will work. Please help! it would be much appreciated.

What battery are you using - the NiMh in the kit? Also, when you power up the ESC - is the LED lit red or green ?

If you're using the NiMh pack, make sure the LED is lit solid red (low voltage cutoff turned off).

I would start with checking all of your connections. Sounds like maybe something is making intermittent contact.

I have found solder joints that are broken but still appear to make good contact

You may have a contrioller with a bad on/off switch. If yoiu can't find a connection that comes and goes by wiggling and tugging on it, then I'd go back where you bought it and let them help. If yopu got it online, its time to call Traxxas.

Im using a LiPO and it is blinking green, evertything lights up green like its suppose to, i stil don't get it.
