The MX-3X is an excellent radio. It is light and very responsive. I just sold mine to try the futaba 4pl. Nothing was wrong, I just like to try different radios. Get the venom lipo for the radio and you will have one of the lightest radios on the market. I have a review on amain for the mx-3x. John Harris. Do not let the price fool you. It is as capable as any radio.

What receiver battery did you run. That is, if you were running the supplied Airtronics Rx? LIPO or LIFE? Did you run a regulator?

I run LiFe as receiver batteries. No need for regs. Much safer than lipo.

What about considering the just released Airtronics MT4. Big LCD screen, protected antenae, telemetry, servo speed adjustment, etc..? It is more expensive than the MX-3X, but isn't it worthy of consideration, especially if someone is considering the DX3S?
