Servos blowing
 
Can a bad receiver blow out servos. Ive had a terrible problem with servos blowing lately, just my throttle, been through 3 in the las 4 mos. And no there not not cheapies. There all 110.00 plus servos. Yes I know how to align and set my epa......

yes a receiver controls the servos so if you dont have your end points and steering throw setup correctly you will burn out a servo very easily:nod:

Like I said, I know how to set my end points. Can the receiver itself overload a servo and cause the motor to burn up.........

Ive got the same issue, both my servos went last night at the same time, without operating them so EPA never was an issue. By the way I checked both servos were working before I installed them into my new car, after the installation neither work. Have tried a spare servo, this works fine. Any help or advice world be appreciated. By the way its a spektrum reciever.

What are you using as a power source for the RX and Servo ?

Check the voltage coming from the rcvr.

The answer to your ques is yes, a bad rcvr can cause servos to go bad.
