ESD Trouble
 

Hello, I am trying to diagnose a problem with my truck and since my experience is limited I thought I would solicit your help. First my set up: Associated SC10 driven by a Havoc 2S Sport ESC / 17.5 SS Pro motor combo, 75 spur/26 pinion, Spektrum Radio gear. OK, here’s what happened. I was tooling around the yard and the truck went wide open with no throttle control, only steering.:eek: I put the truck into a roll and ran over to shut it off. After removing the body I tried to duplicate the problem and found that the motor only ran for short bursts. The ESC starts off in the “normal configuration” with on solid red light. When throttle is applied the lights scroll red and amber. I am guessing the ESC is FUBAR and I need to return it but I would like the opinion of others before I start yelling at NOVAK. By the way, this is a remanufactured combo deal from NOVAK.
