Futaba Trade up Program
 

Hi,

Tried emailing Futaba/Great planes, but never got a response.

I'm noticed that they stated competition 2.4GHz radios are included (hitec, airtronics/sanwa, Spektrum, JR)

Since the Losi radios are Spektrum will that 2.4Ghz 2ch TX/ 3ch Rx suffice?

I've got a ton of those.

Has anyone succesfully (or was met with failure) turn in the Losi systems for the Trade in program?

I would have loved to do the trade in with a Losi RTR radio but their fine print stated that RTR radios would not be accepted. I have two 3PKS and really wanted to buy the 4PKS but I'm not parting with those to get $150 in credit, I'll just wait for a rebate or really good deal to come around.

I was ready to pull the trigger but bought a car,ESC, and some batteries.

Over the last month I've send two e-mails to Futaba asking a question about their excepted manufactures and I have never got a reply back. Not to reply with even a "no" or "sorry", this is just BAD customer service. It's making me question even getting a Futaba radio if this is the kind of service I can expect.

I just recently sent in my old DX3.0 and one SR3000 Rx. I have not yet received the rebate. But as far as I know it just has to be a 2.4 spread spectrum system. I will post here, if you want, when I get the rebate.
