BIG ELECTRIC QUESTIONS
ok EVERYONE
my question is i have the RC18T2 fully modded and everything is put on the car but its all TIGHT so the main thing is i have my Mamba Micro Pro esc and my spectrum receiver RIGHT beside each other with only say 2-3mm of space between the to. i have to have it this way due to there is NO space anywhere to put then anywhere else. SO will this cause problems of any sort please let me know what you have to say or what you think. |

Ok if ur going to post a reply dont just say no
And to others The esc does get warm like normal but then so does the back of the receiver. |
BUMP
please someone must have some type of answer about this |
I have a rc18t2 also. I also have a mamba micro pro in it.
Yes it is tight in there, I actually have my receiver stuck on top of the belt cover because i couldnt get it in there... So you sound like you are doing better than I am with it! Even so you shouldnt have any issues with a receiver and ESC right next to each other. |
your question was will it cause a problem. His answer as well as mine is no.

If you just HAVE to have a longer answer, here goes: No, that will not be a problem. Everyone runs with their electronics close together because; as you yourself said, there is no room to do anything else. This is the case on almost all cars smaller than 1/5th scale. Even though 1/8th and 1/10th cars, etc. are much bigger, performance dictates that the car be made as compact as possible for a low polar moment of inertia. Therefore, even the larger cars have limited space for radio gear and things tend to get piled up on top of each other. It is not a problem, they all run just fine this way. If it was a problem, nearly every car on the market would have to be redesigned as very few of them would work. |
