Hyperion EOS1420i opinions

Hey guys,

What are your opinions on the Hyperion 1420i charger? Is it easy to navigate, is it precise with charging and balancing, and is it reliable for your needs? From all the research I have done, the only thing it doesn't do that I think it should is show the mah has been put into the battery. Does it do this and I haven't seen it, or does it really not show it.

Thanks

It certainly will show the mAh going into the battery. It's a fairly new model, but Hyperion has a good track record so far.

There are screen flow charts that accompany the manual showing all screens used by the covered chargers (includes the 1420i Net3). On the 5th page under data view, 5th screen down indicates the mah input is shown by the charger.

A Hyperion charger's user interface is a bit convoluted but they are very good chargers. Does not take long to get used to the menu structure.

Hey jsamarin,
Just wondering if you bought this charger? I'm considering it myself and would like to know what you think of it.

No, I never ended up buying it, I got an 1/8 ebuggy instead. From all the research I've done on this charger, it seems like it does everything you want, and that its easy enough to use. I never really read any bad things about it either, which is a good thing in my book. I will be buying this charger soon, just the buggy took priority for now.
