3.5mm bullets to 4mm bullets

I have a question I have a 3500kv traxxas motor and I wanted to clip the 3.5mm bullets and solder 4mm bullets would this affect the motor in any way I know on some motors you can't clip the bullets. just want to ask and be safe and not sorry.

Will be fine to shorten the motor wires

If its temporary you can use 3.5 / 4mm adapters, they work well

I only takes a few moments to unsolder the bullets instead of cutting them off. If you plan on ever selling the motor, the 4mm bullets may make it worth less to potential VXL users. I run mine on the 3.5 to 4mm adapters and have not noticed any probs or loss in performance. The adapter doesn't even get warm.

Everything i got is 4mm bullets so I'm just going to switch them to 4mm. I might look into the adapters though.

Instead of clipping the 3.5mm connectors off, I'd unsolder them, and solder on a D3 motor to them instead.;)
