There are 4 diff kinds of balance 'blocks' for the 4 diff kinds of balance connectors. You need to use the one thats for your lipos balance connector.

Have you checked to see if your old balance adapter won't plug into the cable from the charger and allow you to use it on the new charger? That's usually how these are made - so you can use them with your next charger, especially if you're staying with the same brand.

Yes, they have all 4 differnt types. The types are listed as JST-XH (also called Align type), Hyperion, Thunderpower and Kokam.

Looks like Hyperion is now making one that works with CellPro as well.

Only the Hyperion balance adapter uses 5 pins for a 2S lipo balance connection. The other 3 adapters use just three pins for a 2S balance connection, but you need to match the type lipo and get the right one - they are slightly different and its not going to work if you get a JST-XH adapter board and you have TP lipos.

That earlier link has a listing of brands under each type adapter in columns. I'd hope you can find your brand and get the right balance adapter board.
