Battery problem

I got a 5cell aaa rx pack in my CRT. I can only get 80 mah or so into it. Is there a way I can bring it back to life and get 700 in it or am I screwed?

Depends what charger you have, with a decent charger.............

Discharge it to 4.5v

Charge it slowly for 12 - 15 hours at 1/10c (70 mah for a 700mah pack)

Cheers

Your charger mayjust be false peaking, bet the pac wasn't warm when charger quit. Just restart the charger, may have to do it a few times.

Are these new or have they been sitting for a while?

If it's old just buy some new rechargeable cells at the drugstore and rebuild it. It's really easy as long as you make yourself a diagram.

Check your charger for peak settings, discharge and recharge (cycle) battery pack and hopefully it'll come back to life.
