sorry if this is redundant but does anyone know if they will ever offer a dsm2 rx w/telemetry? I have four cars and have not bothered upgrading my tx because i do not want to buy new rxs to get one speed or telemetry and then have to buy new rxs again down the road. Just read the mt4 thread and my eyes will fall out if i try to do that again.

I have been looking at getting a new radio for some time now. I have owned my M11 since it came out, and now it is time to upgrade. I want to know peoples experience with this radio, good and bad. This price is great and the feel is great, but is it easy to navigate and set up?

It's the easiest to operate and navigate out of all the radios I've owned so far. Setup was cake. Adjustments are represented graphically and can be made in pairs or independently (for example, throttle expos can be set the same at the same time or adjusted independently between forward and brake).

It's my favorite radio so far.

For some reason I have to periodically reset the parameters on the radio when I notice the steering center has moved enough that the alignment is off or notice buzzing at an endpoint. It's always been most notable in steering, but last weekend when I tried to run a qualifier the throttle neutral was so far off that my speed controller refused to accept it (then after a parameter reset and reconfiguration of the speed controller it worked fine).

Does anyone else have a DX3R Pro that seems to have wandering end/center values? Is this normal?

4 AA rechargable 2200 NiMH lasts for a very long, long time. I race every weekend and only recharge every other week. This radio is really stingy with power. Oh, these are the low self-discharge NiMH batteries. $7.00 to $10.00for four.

I've done the 5 battery mod, and run 5 lsdc 2500mah energizer batts from Kmart, it's the absolute best mod IMHO, but once done, you can't use 5 normal AA's, only 1.2v rechargeables. It gets used every weekend, with 3 cars controlled by it, and I only have to recharge every 4-5 weeks, and that's just to be safe, I could probably make it last a lot longer.

you have to take the AA tray out and wire in a plug and as long as you run a 2s lipo your fine but your better off running a life pack in it
