Hyperion Charger
Hi,
Do these chargers need an external power supply. I am looking at getting one soon. Thx guys, http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...rger-6S-6A-50W |
No, a power supply is not required. It can be used either way actually, plugged directly into a wall socket, or with a power supply. (Just be sure to use the proper inputs of course.)
They also have a newer version that has more power, which if nice if you are running electrics, especially E 1/8 or something similar (Probably overkill for a nitro). This one can produce higher power on a DC power supply (150 watts), but still works without, plugged directly in to an AC wall plug (90 watts): http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...er-7S-20A-150W |

+1 on Hyperion chargers, wouldn't use anything else. Ensure you get the model with Lipo storage mode.
