Default can you bind a spektrum radio/receiver without a bind key?

i just bought a radio/receiver and im having a little trouble binding the two.. i can get the radio into bind mode... but not the receiver... i dont have the bind key so i figured thats what it was.. i have a SR3001 pro series receiver... i dont even see a bind key port on it.. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

3001 pro series has a bind button on it that is green. As far as radio what radio do u have?

The bind plug is only a jumper so as long as you jump the same 2 pins (the outside 2 pins) with anything metal you will be doing the same thing as the plug.

However, as stated before the SR3001 uses a bind button not a plug to enter bind mode. To enter bind mode you need to hold down the button and while holding it down turn on the power to the rx, release the button when the green led starts to flash. Now it bind on the tx and the blinking green led on the rx will turn solid.

i read the F'n Manual.. its not as easy as i thought it would be to read (the dx3s)

anywho.. yeah i got that one to work i meant my sr3300t

so if i use a wire to each it would work? any old wire? like speaker wire?

Do you have an old servo that is dead? Cut off the connector and make a jumper by tying the ground and signal wires together. Now you have a bind plug.

BTW it really doesn't sound like you read the correct manual. There is one for each rx.
