Mamba Max Pro SC?

how well is the Mamba Max Pro SC esc and the 2400 motor? are there any differences compare with the max pro normal version? Thanks.

ESC is the same as far as I know, just a nice label

Motor should be a ripper

Cheers

Says this combo is 4S rated, not 6S like teh MMP is. This may be application sepcific like the HPI 2350 Flux - that is an MMP also thats only 4S rated.

Castle being conservative by rating the Motor for 4s (6s would be 60,000 rpms)

They havent added it to Castle Link yet so I guess we'll have to wait and see

The HPI ESC is limited by software guess they could do the same

They are charging similar price to the MMP would be surprised if they hobbled it

Cheers

Confirmed by Castle the ESC will be 6s capable

They rate the combos at 4S (and the HPI RTR setup) so people who don't know any better don't try to run 6S and fry their gear when using an inappropriate motor. The MMP SC and HPI branded Q-Base are still both a regular MMP rated to 6S.

The SCT version and the regular version are exactly the same except for the sticker color , the 2 ESC are capable of going up to 6s but if you are using the 2400kv 1415 motor you must used either 3s or 4s and nothing else on the MMP or MMP SCT ESC .

Not true. You can run 2-4s with that motor. The ESC is the same as the standard MMP. I have this combo and I am patiently awaiting my ten-scte to put this into.

I'm running the combo in my Slash 4x4, motor is a ripper

Geared for 65mph on 4s it bursts to a lazy 2300 watts (170 amps or so)

Motor is actually rated for 5s / 75,000 rpms according to the label that is on it

Wouldnt be running 5s in a SC truck unless it was just for some speed runs

Castle's gearing reccomendation for a Slash 4x4 is fairly conservative at 40mph (4s lipo)

Here is their chart for various cars
