Default Running servo off parrallel power supply?

Is it possible to run servos off of a parrallel 6v power supply, or should I say 2 6v power supplies? Would it work or would I just burn up my servos? I have wondered about that since reading a parrallel/series article in R/C magazine. Someone who knows better please help so I don't burn up anything.......Thanks

Should be as long as they two 6v sources are wired in parallel, but why would you need/want to do that?

You can power the servos with a 6V power supply. Would need some method of control, either a radio system or a servo tester.

Generally don’t want to parallel 2 power supplies together unless they were designed for parallel connection (typically with a separate connection between the supplies control circuits). The voltages must match very well or at least one supply will either shut down or release the magic smoke. There are cases where it can be done, what do you have for supplies?
