AMBrc and MRT Transponders

1 Attachment(s)
I was looking around and noticed that the new AMBrc transponder has a transponder holder that's able to be taken off, almost as if it's "ears" can be removed without cutting. I also saw that the removable "ears" or AMBrc transponder carrier is sold separately for a few bucks.

Upon noticing that, I had a few questions for options.

1. Can the older AMB transponders (without ears of course) fit into the AMBrc carrier?
2. Can the MRT PTX transponder (without ears) fit into the AMBrc carrier?
3. Do the MRT and the AMB/AMBrc share the same mounting holes (both can mount to the same dimension holes)?

Any input would be great. Thanks!
