Life for MX-3X???
 

I am looking to get LIFE batteries for my MX-3X...does anyone know which model/part # battery will fit in the controller? Is there one available? If not what is the best option to run in my controller instead of Lipo? Any help is appreciated.

Don't know if an LiFe is too much for your radio or not. Its a 4 cell type radio and I know the low self discharge batteries (LSD) would work great in it. I'm using them in my 4 cell txs. They are not like NiMh at all in that they have very little self discharge.

Sanyo Eneloops and Turnigy LSDs are really a diff kind of rechargeable NiMh, instead of being discharged nearly every time you want to use them these are ready to go and last like alkalines. The only discharge is practically just what you're draining from them in actual useage.

your controller will run a 2s lipo on it fine no ubec needed or a 2s life pack it dont matter

there 1600mah 6.6 volts its the size of 2 aa battery's
