With nimh you only need to add a charging extension to your battery lead and you can hook it up to your battery charger directly!
How cool you got offended on this thread and blasted me and my club on another. Don't take it out on anyone other than ME!!! You give Texans a bad name. And if you want to act like a badass bring a fistful of cash and I'll race you for it.

The AE screw is made for the batt hold down bar on a T3/B3 & motor gear covers.Wont fit in every situation but may make some of your lives easier.

It was about 8months before I balanced my hyperion pack. It was still perfectly balanced. While I do not discount the importance of a pack staying balanced in my experience with several 2s and 4s packs they don't need balancing very often. I check them every once and a while and if something is weird I will keep a closer eye on them. I have very rarely had a pack be more than .2V per cell unless it was going bad.

My brand new LiFe Protek receiver battery started to bloat on my initial charge. It was set on LiFe, 1.0A charge rate and balancing tap connected to the balancing board.

Is it safe to run LiFe straight on non-HV Savox and Hitec servo's?

ANything thats designed for 6v nimh will run safely on 6.6v LIFE packs. When you charge up 6v nimh packs that peak/top out around 6.8 volts.

A life should peak out on 7.2V when fully charged, so I don't know if that's safe.
