Mamba Max question:
 

OK so i have this MM that I've had for years and just found again, anyway I put some wire on it and the latest firmware and altered a few of the basic settings(but when I plug it up it appears to arm but no throttle is given, I did wire it to a trinity duo(without the sensor cable obvioiusly) to see if it would work...steering is fine green like and brake light show but nothing happens throttle wise...does that mean It won't work or that something else is up?

edit:nevermind had to turn the fwd on my controller up and it worked

but the question is now is it safe to run a motor designed around sensored esc's on this speed control(it doesn't have the sensor cable in but after a small test it seems to be working ok)
