MMP and BEC

Hooked up the BEC to my MMP as directed. Unplugged the red wire from the ESC plug. Plugged the MMP and ESC into he proper slot in the Rx. Turned on the power and my receiver will not turn on. Also the light on the BEC is not on. The MMP has power. But nothing else. Reinserted the red wire and everything works. What did I do wrong.

Exactly like the diagram.

Started to think that the BEC took a crap on me. I bought it yesterday and changed the output level to 6.0v when I got home. Now my Castle Link can not connect to it. The BEC lights up just won't connect. Hooked up my MMP to the Link and it works fine.

If you have the polarity on the plugin to the rcvr right, I'd tend to agree that the BEC looks like it went south.

Check BEC output with a DVM and there should be no questions.
