brushless esc with brushed motor?
so could i use a brushless esc with a brushed motor? cuz i got older brushed motors and my esc is made for brushless... could i still use em together? or will it kill my esc or brushed motor?
|
some can, some can't. what esc is it?
|
well... idk, my friend was gunna buy a new esc, and all he can find are brushless esc's. any brand si should buy that arent a big hit in the wallet? cuz i know he wont need speed, and he will never go lower wind then 15.

well, my recommendation for quality/cost best deal would be hobbywing stuff, which you can get on hobbypartz.com .
I thought your question though, was whether the esc that you own could run brushless motors. like I said, some can, but many cant. If your "friend" is going to buy a new esc, he/she should consider just running brushless motors too, since they're easier on batteries. If he really just needs a brushed esc, I've got a tekin rebel 2 for sale he can buy for $25. |

Of our current escs, GTBs, SLYDRs, Mongooses, Havocs (1S, 2S, 3S) are brush/brushless. Some of these are available in our RMF store (link in signature). We have BL motors, too, if you want to convert to all brushless |
