I would love to tell you its right around the corner, but until we have full production products ready to ship, I don't want to give out any dates for the reason you mentioned before. We had hoped to have stuff for the start of fall, but we are also working with the factory to produce not only a new 1/8 speed control, but a new 1/10 speed control, new 1/10 and 1/8 motors as well. So we are actually working with the factory on 4 new programs at one time. It might be a little delayed, but that is because when we release it, we want the best products for you all to use.

10 months with no product. I love Viper products, but I will not wait any longer. Time to find another brand. Guess I'll be buying 4 new ESCs instead of just 1.

I here you it's hard to be loyal to a brand when it disappears

I just bought a used VTX8, dam it, I should have done a search before, I have the strange feeling I just wasted money I could have used on a RX8...
TO top it off, it is rainy, damped, dark, cold and I'm at work...

I just bought 4 used vtx8. Still the most feature packed 1/8 esc out there, even with the new ones from other manufacturers. Super deal on all of them. Right now, they're the best bang for the buck on the used market. Even picked up a black edition Vtx10r for $85!!

no money wasted. use the esc until its not competitive not until a new one comes out. even if viper closes up and never comes back, the esc is still as good as it was. use it until you cant keep up with others then upgrade to something else.

You did not waste your money great products.
Timing experts?
I have a couple of VTX10's to run this winter, one will be in a 4wd buggy and run in our 13.5 class (try it, you'll like it). I suspect I'll go to a race or two where it may be fun to run 4wd open too. I'm wondering if there is a resource for timing setups so that I could switch programs and pinion gears and run a boosted setup with my 13.5 in open? Any ideas?

When there web-site went down in May was when I saw the end. Just trying to get rid of old inventory cause they know no one will buy if brand is extinct.

We have been hearing that for months. Yet, nothing new, no sneak peaks, nothing. How do you expect to retain customers when you have zero product for them? This has to be the worst business move in history.

No... its a business that does things right.. we would rather not make sales, than sell something before its ready. Can't wait for everyone to see what we have been working on...
