I have read that most poeple recommend starting with zero timing and using the boost/turbo for increasing timing but how do you do that with a viper when 15 seems to be the lowest endbell setting

starting low and slowly working the way up as you test and keep track of temps is the best way to go about all of this.

Seriously. Do you know how annoying it can be to try to calculate Hectres per Litre an convert that number from Kilometers to square mm?! Carry the 1, divide by Pi, an you get something equaling to.... chicken salad?! Ooops. I forgot to round out to the nearest League. My bad.

Heh. J/k of course. I work with thermal temps all the time with overclocking computer video cards, an they almost always are defaulted to C.

Why I think having a Metric/Standard calculator is essential in a pitbox. Even if it seems simple, better safe than in a wall.

Finally got a vtx10r on order. Should have it next week. I can't wait to see how it compares to my Novak gtb 2 x drive. Mine will be the second viper at the on road portion of our track and the only r model. I think there is one guy using one in off road but I'm not sure. Can't wait to race it next weekend. So far a few guys have gone to the new flow esc and are really happy with it. I'm hoping to put a little viper poison in to disrupt the "flow" of things.

My vtx10 popped a cap. What's the recommended replacement? I'm running 17.5 blinky or 10.5 boosted TC with it.

Viper Notes 3/9:

Please look for Mark Smyka, Fernando Gordinho, Chris Hillier and others using Viper products next week at ROAR Carpet Nationals, Horsham PA

Also Travis Amezcua, Paul Sinclair and more at the Cactus Classic in Scottsdale Arizona
----------
We are sad to announce that we have parted ways with Josh Cryul, the decision was made by the organization based on contractual agreements for items away from the race track.

Viper wishes Josh and his family nothing but the best, our thoughts and prays are with him and his family, he has been an ambassador for our sport and has helped us in our brief time together.
-----------

Check out the shop site or your favorite Viper retailer for great spring time deals on the Copperhead esc/motor combo -- deal is too good to be true!!

Max, going to check now.

Can't wait for practice to start at ROAR Nats, track layout looks dialed. We have some fast drivers attending the race.... stay tuned..... I have a feeling this one might be interesting.
